Situated in Vientiane, the small capital city of Lao PDR, Vientiane International School is an independent, not-for-profit day school offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme for students aged 3 and up. VIS is the only school in the Lao PDR that is accredited with the IB and offers all three IB programmes*.VIS is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Vientiane International School is the only school in Laos and is one of a small selection of international schools in Asia accredited by both CIS and WASC.
