Founded in 1976, Verdala International School is an independent, coeducational day school school with some residential boarding via host families, offering an educational program from Pre - Kindergarten through to Grade 12. VIS has a diverse international student body, representing 45 nationalities.VIS is a member of the European Council of International Schools and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. VIS is approved to offer academic qualifications for Cambridge International Education's International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), as well as the International Baccalaureate's Diploma Programme (IBDP).
