We are delighted to be located on Korea’s beautiful island of Jeju and proud of our connection to our home school in Vermont. Founded in 1842, St. Johnsbury Academy is a deeply respected independent secondary school widely recognized as an institution that develops character, academic excellence, and civic awareness in its students. Academically, our principal objective is to fuse learning with real-world applications. In order to achieve this our educators design innovative curricula that focus on Inquiry/Project-Based Learning (IPBL). In addition, we offer a unique Capstone Intensive Learning Model (CILM) in grades 5, 8 and 12. It provides numerous opportunities for students to research and present projects that are personally meaningful. Through this we endeavor to engage and encourage each student to discover his or her passion in life. We are dedicated to assisting our students so that when they attend their future colleges and universities they are ready to pursue their passions with a deep love of learning and are fully prepared to be principled leaders who make a difference in their communities, countries, and our world.
