Schools Facilities

The phase 1 covers an area of about 28.68 mu with three independent five-floor buildings. It accommodates about 2050 students and provides boarding services for about 180 students. The phase 2 is currently in undergoing expansion, which consists of secondary teaching buildings, performing arts centers, gymnasium building and boarding building. It will be open to the public in September 2020. By then, phase 1 and phase 2 will cover a total area of 75.1 mu and can accommodate about 3,770 students. Learning Resource Centre There is a learning resource center in phase 1 and phase 2 respectively, which provides students with spacious, diverse and open private and group learning spaces. The LRC is full of books, technology and resources that our students can access daily in order to broaden and support their learning both individually or as part of a group. Equipped with different learning areas such as mini learning auditorium with the latest technology, individual computer stations and areas for quiet reading, our LRC offers multiple variations for student's learning. Our friendly staff is on hand to help and assist students with regard to their requests and further learning. Performing Arts Centre We have a state of the art Performing Arts Centre. Music, drama and performance form an important strength of our school and this area has been designed to cultivate and inspire creativity. In phase 1, we have a 400-seat auditorium, while we will have a 550-seat auditorium in phase 2. As most of the colorful activities will be held here, the auditorium is equipped with top sound, professional lighting and voice control equipment so that students can display a better stage performance. The blackbox theatre, drama and dance studio provides an excellent space for students wishing to rehearse as well as learn the more in detail parts of performance such as lighting and sound. We have multiple music rooms equipped with the latest technology for music and sound production, as well as specialised breakout rooms, perfect for group or individual practise work. Sports Facilities We have extensive sports and recreational facilities on our campus. In phase 1, there are many sports facilities, such as 25m standard indoor swimming pool standard football field track and field area five-a-side football field standard basketball court standard indoor gymnasium (including basketball hall volleyball hall and badminton hall) tennis court In phase 2, there will be a 25-meter standard indoor swimming pool a professional training pool a track and field sports area a basketball court a football court a tennis court Boarding Our boarding programme creates an environment that nurtures your child's social and educational development whilst focusing on their comfort and wellbeing. Our boarding students have the opportunity to participate in an extensive range of cultural, creative and sporting activities during evenings and weekends, ensuring fun free time, as well as developing their knowledge and skills. In order to allow more students to experience the high-quality boarding services at NACIS, we are building a 9-storey boarding facility to accommodate about 620 students. Our Classrooms Our Primary School classrooms comfortably cater for our maximum classroom size of 24 students and are enhanced by specialist rooms for music, science and ICT. Each classroom is equipped with an interactive whiteboard. In the Secondary School, our well-appointed classrooms are complemented by science laboratories, excellent music facilities, design technology workshops, purpose-built computer labs, art studio, photography dark room and two drama studios. Our High School students from Grades 10 – 12 benefit from independent study facilities to help stimulate both individual study and group work. All our classrooms are located off spacious corridors which have been designed to encourage students to use these areas both for individual and group work. Specialised breakout areas in the corridors provide light, spacious and inviting areas which help stimulate group work sessions.
