IPS Hilversum is a co-educational school, for learners aged 4 - 12 years. As an IB PYP school, we strive for our learners to be actively engaged, co-constructors of their learning. Throughout their school career, our teaching staff support and scaffold instruction so that our learners are agentic and self regulated, developing knowledge that will support them in understanding the world around them for years to come.Our community of learners receive a balanced approach to learning, looking holistically at an individual and their personal needs in order to succeed. As an IB school we provide a transdisciplinary approach to learning with a focus on developing conceptual understandings, knowledge, skills and attributes to support all learners in becoming international minded. Learning through a transdisciplinary approach with a focus on inquiry, is often a hands on approach to learning. One where students investigate the systems, laws and environment around themselves, the local community and on a global scale.
