Admissions Process
STEP ONE: Online Application & Documents - Create a new online application and upload all the necessary documentation required, even if you do not have all the below documents, you may complete and submit the application first.
STEP TWO: ENTRANCE ASSESSMENTS & INTERVIEW
Early Childhood - No assessment is required and family has the option to choose between an on-campus or online interview. Please note that the interview will be conducted individually.
ASSESSMENT - Applicant(s) who are currently in Hong Kong MUST complete on-campus assessment
OVERSEAS ASSESSMENT - Applicant(s) have the option to complete an online assessment. Please note that our online assessments are quite popular, and therefore, the waiting time might be longer than usual.
INTERVIEWS (Grade 1 to Grade 12)
If your child has passed the assessment, a family interview will be scheduled on a separate day. You will have the option to choose between an on-campus or online interview format. Please note that the interview will be conducted individually.

Homework
There is no homework in the Early Childhood division, about 20 minutes of homework in Elementary, 60 minutes of homework in Middle School, around 60 to 90 minutes of homework in High School
Learning Support
English as a Second Language (ESL): AIS does not have any support programs for English as an Additional Language. Therefore, all applicants must disclose any and all additional documentation or reports relating to the applicant’s ability to successfully learn in a regular English academic school environment.
