All applicants must participate in the interview and screening process.

Applicants for early childhood must attend a developmental screening and observation.

Located outside of the city center, our school has some of the cleanest air in HCMC. This means more opportunities for students to take advantage of our three full soccer fields, two playgrounds, and gardens.
Whether it’s conducting field studies or playing soccer during recess, SSIS students spend time outdoors every day.
And indoors, two air-conditioned gyms, a six-lane pool, three libraries, three STEM labs, an auditorium, and black box theatre, offer limitless inspiration for students to explore, engage, and excel.
SSIS does provide busing for a fee to most districts within HCMC.
Morning snacks and lunches are available to all students within a spacious and well-equipped cafeteria. Meals are prepared onsite daily in a modern and fully equipped catering kitchen by a professional catering company. Set lunches are available for all grade levels with prices ranging from 46,500VND for EC students to 73,000VND for MS & HS students. A la carte items are available from 10,000VND.
Careful attention is paid to providing balanced meals and a daily variety of both Western and Asian options. Food storage, presentation and disposal are closely monitored according to international hygiene and food safety standards. A fresh morning snack is delivered daily to all early childhood classrooms.
English Additional Language (EAL) classes are offered in Kindergarten through grade 10.
We have a myriad of after-school activities for students to choose from. Offerings change on a regular basis to reflect the desires of the students and the talents in the community. In the past, activities have included but were not limited to, dance, cooking classes, Vietnamese folktales, board games, martial arts, robotics, design technology, debate, model UN, jewelry making, and more.
Throughout the year our students compete against other international schools in Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding countries in basketball, volleyball, soccer, badminton, swimming, cross country, and track & field. SSIS athletes compete in the SISAC, SEASAC, and MRISA athletic leagues.
