The International School of Lusaka (ISL) is a non-denominational, co-educational, independent day school, which was established in 1963. The school is situated on 33 acres of land, centrally located in the capital city of Zambia. The student body consists of over 650 students, ranging from Nursery to Year 13. Students represent over 50 different nationalities from 6 different continents. Faculty at ISL is comprised of an equally diverse population. ISL is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). The school is also a member of the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA) and the Independent Schools Association of Zambia (ISAZ).
