Description

Clifford School (International and Manitoba Program) within Clifford Estates, Panyu, Guangdong, has a population of approximately 520 students with a staff of about 50 western teachers and 10 Chinese teachers.

   The Manitoba curriculum is implemented from grade 1 to grade 12. Clifford School also offers an Advanced Placement (AP) program for interested students. The school is audited annually by Manitoba Education and Advanced Learning. This includes curriculum reviews and ensuring mandated guidelines outlined by the province.

Tuition

Scholarships

Scholarships are offered to Grade 11 and 12 students who excel in individual subject areas and overall. Our top scholarship is the Clifford Peng award earned by the top scoring grade 12 International program student and the Canadian Governor General's award, given to the student with the highest average in both grades 11 and 12.

Entry Requirements

Students should be foreign passport holders, or residents of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwain. Successful applicants will have good English and academic skills.


Applicant Evaluations

Students from grades 1 to 8 will complete a one-on-one entrance exam to measure their abilities in speaking, listening, reading, and writing English and math. Students from grades 9 to 11 will write an entrance exam to measure their reading, vocabulary, writing, and math skills.

Teacher Qualifications

Our teachers are Manitoba (Canada) qualified or a Manitoba approved equivalent. All teachers are passport holders from an English speaking country.

Schools Facilities

Our school has recently installed a brand new outdoor field with stadium seating, a fully underground parking facility, and state-of-the-art gymnasium. Each classroom features a smart screen for increased integration of technology in the classroom. We have two libraries on campus to develop students’ research skills. We also have a makerspace area to encourage students to develop their STEM skills
