Upper Canada College was founded in 1829 and is an IB Continuum World School, enrolling 1,200 students in Senior Kindergarten through Year 12, including 88 boarders from around the world. Admissions Information

Admissions Process

Boarding decisions are rolling starting in December through to May. Day decisions for entry levels (Year 3, 5, 6, 7, 9) are late-February. SK and non-entry level decisions are in April.

Entry Requirements

Applications open in September for the following entry year. The day application deadline is December 1 and the boarding application deadline is April 15 (subject to change year-to-year).

Applicant Evaluations

Applicants submit an application form, two years of final report cards and current school information. An entrance test is required (SSAT at Year 8 and above). Selected candidates are selected for interviews.
